Subpar in Seattle

Jon Lindstrom of Broomfield posted one of just seven subpar rounds on Thursday to jump 20 spots in the standings at the 50th Pacific Coast Amateur at Seattle Golf Club.

The 2015 CGA Mid-Amateur champion made three birdies and two bogeys on Thursday, shot a 1-under-par 71 and moved up to 48th place with one round remaining in the Pac Coast. He stands at 11-over-par 227 overall.

Also at that figure is Nick Nosewicz of Aurora, who posted a 77 on Thursday.

The third member of the Colorado contingent, University of Denver golfer Chris Korte of Littleton, stands in 63rd place at 231 after a 75 on Thursday.

Rico Hoey of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Nahum Mendoza of San Diego share the overall lead at 5-under 211.

The 72-hole tournament will conclude on Friday.
