2005 CWGA Junior Stroke Play

Becca Huffer of Overland Park GC earned her first state title winning the CWGA Junior Stroke Play Championship at Spring Valley Golf Club. Huffer finished the final round with an even-par 72 and a total score of 216. Huffer played steady throughout the championship, increasing her lead on the field each day and finishing eight strokes ahead of the next competitor. Brooke Collins of Omni Interlocken also played three steady days shooting two 75’s and a 74 on the final day to claim runner-up honors with a 224.
